Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states that “No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance”

Boonslick Regional Planning Commission (hereinafter “BRPC”) assures full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, Executive Order 12898 on Environmental Justice, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities.

Any person who believes that they have been discriminated against has a right to file a formal complaint with BRPC. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with BRPC Title VI Coordinator within 180 days following the date of the alleged discriminatory incident.
